With the right choice of string, up to 20% more power can be transferred to the arrow. The Shrew Whisper String was developed jointly by Ron LaClair and Henry Bodnik to ensure that the energy stored in the super high-performance Bodnik Bows and Shrew Bows is effectively transferred to the arrow. Arrow speed and penetration power are two important characteristics that are increased by our Shrew Whisper String.
Our high-performance string is a hybrid string consisting of three different materials. This special combination of materials also results in its whisper-quiet shot noise. The Whisper String lives up to its name and is extremely quiet even without string silencers.
The Shrew Whisper String for longbows is 3″ shorter than the bow length. Both string loops are of the correct circumference to provide optimal hold in the limb grooves, even for the narrow limbs of a longbow.

How long does delivery take?
We ship in-stock items within 1–2 business days. Within Germany, packages usually reach you within 2–3 business days. EU-wide 4–7
business days, Switzerland and international upon request.
Bodnik Bows outside of the Available Bows have an average delivery time of approx. 8–12 weeks.
Custom bows have a production time of 10–14 months.
