Questions & Answers

What is the best entry-level model?

We get this question often. Our answer is the Bandit Take Down. Developed in close cooperation with Henry Bodnik, this bow packs the knowledge of a legend at an unbeatable price-performance ratio. Thanks to its take-down construction, you can easily swap out the limbs at any time. This not only makes transport easier but, above all, allows you to increase your draw weight gradually without having to buy a new bow right away.

I am unsure about the draw weight. What do you recommend?

A very important question, because the golden rule here is: proper technique is more important than raw strength. For children up to 9 years old, 15 lbs is optimal for an easy and safe start. For women, we recommend a draw weight between 20 and 30 lbs, which is ideal for beginners, while men make the perfect choice for their first archery set with 30 to 40 lbs. Higher draw weights are intended more for experienced archers whose muscles and technique are already well-developed.

Do you also offer custom bows or special commissions?

Yes, we offer you the opportunity to design your own personal dream bow. The process begins with an exclusive consultation with Henry Bodnik, during which you will work together to define your wishes regarding design, function, and aesthetics. Our experienced bowyers then bring this design to life with artisanal perfection. Each of these bows is a truly unique piece, equipped with our high-performance Super Speed limbs. A completed example is the Custom Redman, which we carry in our range as an especially elegant version.

Are your bows also suitable for children?

This depends heavily on the age of the child. In general, archery is not suitable for children under 5 years of age, as they often lack the necessary physical and mental maturity for safe training at that age. For the youngest archers, we have developed the Siouxand the Tombow, two bows made specifically for children. From about the age of 10, children and teenagers can then move on to our entire range.
