A bow just like the one we would shoot ourselves

At Bodnik Archery, we are archers ourselves. We know the feeling when the arrow cleanly leaves the string, the anticipation when heading out onto the course, and the peace one finds in nature. That is precisely why we know that choosing the right bow is a matter of the heart. This collection is more than just an assortment; it is our recommendation to you, from archer to archer. We don’t just want to be your retailer, but your reliable partner in a sport that connects us all. For us, the partnership doesn't end when you buy a bow; it begins!

  • Consultation at eye level

We speak the same language: the language of archery. When you talk to us, you are speaking to people who know your passion from their own experience and truly understand what matters. • Quality that lasts for decades

For us, purchasing a bow is the beginning of a long-term partnership. The 30-year Bodnik Bows warranty is the foundation for this. It is our firm commitment to the longevity of our products and proof that you are choosing a bow for life, not just for the next season.

Find your bow, find your center

Archery is a discipline that has combined precision, instinct, and concentration for millennia. Whether you are looking for athletic competition, want to test your skills on the course, or are following the demanding tradition of bow hunting – every archer has their own goal. We understand the different requirements placed on equipment and archers alike. That is why we offer you well-founded advice based on experience, rather than just selling equipment. Our goal is for you to find the bow that you can rely on in that moment – during training, in competition, or out in nature.

Our wide range of products for beginners, advanced users, and professionals

There are bows that need no introduction because their reputation precedes them. The Slick Stickis one such bow. As a legendary classic among hybrid longbows, it has shaped the scene for years and has become an indispensable fixture on 3D courses and in bow hunting worldwide. Its astonishing performance with a butter-smooth draw and its simple, classic look with bamboo limbs make it a companion for life. If you are looking for maximum performance, we recommend the elegant Redman Carbon bow. Through the use of state-of-the-art carbon technology, this bow becomes lighter, more stable, and even faster. What does that mean for you? An explosive arrow speed of over 210 fps. To achieve this value, however, a suitable set-up is crucial, in which the draw weight and arrow weight are optimally matched. If you would like to know exactly which configuration will achieve this, just send us a message – we are happy to advise you. In addition, the bow's carbon laminates dampen vibrations to a minimum and ensure an incredibly smooth shot with incomparable precision. And for all those new to the archery scene, we have put together an entire category. Here you will find the answer to the question "How do I get started?". Depending on the set, you will receive a beginner's bow and all the accessories you need for safety and comfort: Our basic sets include, among other things, a shooting glove, arm guard, robust arrows, and a bow stringer, while the larger sets are additionally equipped with a side or back quiver, bow square, nocking point pliers, and a bow case. With this flexible foundation, you can start your new hobby in a relaxed and successful way. Take a look around our online shop and discover our wide-ranging collection of bows. Questions & Answers

What is the best entry-level model?

We get this question often. Our answer is the Bandit Take Down. Developed in close cooperation with Henry Bodnik, this bow packs the knowledge of a legend at an unbeatable price-performance ratio. Thanks to its take-down construction, you can easily swap out the limbs at any time. This not only makes transport easier but, above all, allows you to increase your draw weight gradually without having to buy a new bow right away.

I am unsure about the draw weight. What do you recommend?

A very important question, because the golden rule here is: proper technique is more important than raw strength. For children up to 9 years old, 15 lbs is optimal for an easy and safe start. For women, we recommend a draw weight between 20 and 30 lbs, which is ideal for beginners, while men make the perfect choice for their first archery set with 30 to 40 lbs. Higher draw weights are intended more for experienced archers whose muscles and technique are already well-developed.

Do you also offer custom bows or special commissions?

Yes, we offer you the opportunity to design your own personal dream bow. The process begins with an exclusive consultation with Henry Bodnik, during which you will work together to define your wishes regarding design, function, and aesthetics. Our experienced bowyers then bring this design to life with artisanal perfection. Each of these bows is a truly unique piece, equipped with our high-performance Super Speed limbs. A completed example is the Custom Redman, which we carry in our range as an especially elegant version.

Are your bows also suitable for children?

This depends heavily on the age of the child. In general, archery is not suitable for children under 5 years of age, as they often lack the necessary physical and mental maturity for safe training at that age. For the youngest archers, we have developed the Siouxand the Tombow, two bows made specifically for children. From about the age of 10, children and teenagers can then move on to our entire range.
